  • Efficient Furnace Upgrade Replacement Installation in Marlton, NJ

Efficient Furnace Upgrade Replacement Installation in Marlton, NJ
    After

This homeowner needed a new furnace and air conditioner to improve reliabilty and lower operating costs.

We installed a 96% efficient Amana furnace that changes its output depending on how cold it is outside. We also replaced the air conditioner with a 16 SEER Amana system that changes the amount of cooling ot delivers based on how hot it is outside.

The equipment upgrade was combined with attic air sealing and insulating. The client received a $4000 rebate and 0% financing on the balance from the NJ Home Performance program.

  • Commercial Rooftop Air Conditioning Replacement

This old rooftop heating and cooling system decided to fail on the hottest day of the year. WE brought in a crane and replaced it with a high efficiency Carrier unit. The quick turn around meant no loss of production or revenue.

  • Leaky Air Handler Replacement in Medford, NJ

Leaky Air Handler Replacement in Medford, NJ
    After

Our client had a 35 year old air handler in the attic providing central air conditioning. The air handler had rotted out and was leaking water through the ceiling. We replaced the air handler including new sealed duct transitions, added a safety pan under the unit with a switch to shut it off if water ever gets into the pan, converted the air handler to work with the refrigerant in the old AC unit outside, and got the summer comfort restored in one day.

  • Blown in Cellulose Insulation Dramatically Improves Home Comfort in Hainesport, NJ
    Before
Blown in Cellulose Insulation Dramatically Improves Home Comfort in Hainesport, NJ
    After

Our clients were unhappy with their home. The temperature difference between the first and second floors was dramatic - over 10 degrees warmer upstairs on a hot summer day. Their utility bills were also very high. We replaced the old, inefficient furnace, air conditioner, and water heater to lower the energy bills. The variable speed Amana heating and air conditioning system pushed more cold air to the second floor while consuming a lot less energy. But to make the dramatic improvement in comfort they sought, we also had to seal the attic and properly insulate it.

We moved the old insulation then sealed all gaps in the framing, drywall and around plumbing and electrical penetrations with spray foam. The old insulation was placed flat on the ceiling (it had been bunched up), and an additional 12-in of cellulose insulation was blown in on top.

The result was a much tighter house that didn't leak as much cool conditioned air into the attic and insulation that reduced the heat transferred from the attic into the second floor by 67%! The second floor is now just as comfortable as the first floor when it's sunny and 95-degrees outside.

This project qualified for a $4000 rebate and 0% interest financing for 7-years from NJ's Home Performance Program.
