The battered old outdoor condensing unit.
After more than 20-years of operation, this battered outdoor condensing unit was ready for the recycling yard.

Same old unit from a different angle.
Note the cracked pad it is sitting on and the unprotected 230-volt wire feeding power to it.

Beautiful new American Standard (Trane) outdoor condensing unit
This air conditioner has a steel jacket protecting the refrigerant coil from damage. The unit sits on a 100% recycled plastic pad and the wiring has been upgraded.

Old air handler in the attic
The black safety pan doesn't extend under the entire air handler in this old installation! What happens if the condensate line backs up and starts leaking? Disaster waiting to happen.

New American Standard Air handler
Beautiful installation! Ductwork is sealed and insulated and the safety pan extends under the entire air handler. There are two safety switches on this system: the first is on the condensate piping and the second is in the safety pan. Either will shut the air conditioning off if water is detected where it doesn't belong.

Digital gauges for proper set up
Modern technology is required when setting up a new air conditioning system. These digital gauges give our trained technician all the information he needs to make sure the refrigerant level is perfect.
