The homeowner had already spent money with another contractor to improve the hot second floor with new heating and air conditioning. But it didn't work! We then built an insulated storage deck so she could bring efficiency and order to her off season Christmas storage. Finally, we blew 18-in of R-60 cellulose insulation onto her attic. You can see the retention dams on the storage deck that hold all that insulation back.
