This homeowner wanted to get rid of his old oil-fired boiler. It was loud, sooty, and made the basement very hot because it was so poorly insulated and ran very hot. This system heats both his house (he uses copper fin-tube baseboard) as well as his domestic hot water. It is 95% efficient and uses natural gas for heat which is much less expensive than heating oil. The system also melts the snow off his front steps and walkway!
