This Moorestown, NJ homeowner had an Energy Audit performed on their home. The Audit revealed several ways to conserve energy, save money and allowed them the benefits of NJ State Rebates.
This homeowner chose a Bryant 95% efficient furnace, 3 stage and sealed combustion, it also features a variable speed EMC motor and they also chose to get the Bryant Evolution Controller to operate it.
Air Sealing was also completed- This residence was 110% leakier than the Building Air Standard. Sealing air leaks cuts energy costs by keeping the air you paid to heat or cool from leaking out.
An old York gas furnace was past it's prime and was neither reliable nor efficient. We replaced it with an Amana 96% efficient 2-stage furnace that changes its capacity depending on how cold it is outside. This furnace delivers superior comfort while cutting the gas bill dramatically. It also saves money in the air conditioning season because the super efficient blower motor uses 70% less electricity than the old York unit. It was a tight squeeze getting the new system into a tiny space in a closet but it looks and works beautifully!
This homeowner needed a new furnace and air conditioner to improve reliabilty and lower operating costs.
We installed a 96% efficient Amana furnace that changes its output depending on how cold it is outside. We also replaced the air conditioner with a 16 SEER Amana system that changes the amount of cooling ot delivers based on how hot it is outside.
The equipment upgrade was combined with attic air sealing and insulating. The client received a $4000 rebate and 0% financing on the balance from the NJ Home Performance program.
Our client had a 35 year old air handler in the attic providing central air conditioning. The air handler had rotted out and was leaking water through the ceiling. We replaced the air handler including new sealed duct transitions, added a safety pan under the unit with a switch to shut it off if water ever gets into the pan, converted the air handler to work with the refrigerant in the old AC unit outside, and got the summer comfort restored in one day.
This homeowner needed a new heating an air conditioning system. We were able to meet and exceed their goals and get the systems installed quickly. They qualified for a $250 Warm Advantage Rebate and a $300 Cool Advantage Rebate.
